Operations Support Specialist

ATX, located in Biddeford, ME, provides technology consulting services to high-growth businesses throughout the US. Our services include technology strategy, software selection, software implementation, business process improvement, business intelligence, system integrations, and executive dashboards and reporting. ATX has been named one of the best places to work in Maine and we are excited to expand our team. We have an immediate need for an Operations Support Specialist to work within our organization.

The successful candidate will be able to gain experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and have the opportunity to work directly with the leadership of the firm. Applicants should have at least 2 years of professional work experience.

Candidates must be comfortable in an entrepreneurial setting working on many projects simultaneously. Highly motivated individuals who see themselves as independent thinkers and problem solvers with a thirst for learning will succeed at ATX. A strong attention to detail with the ability to understand the big picture is required.

Candidates will assist with a variety of tasks supporting both our clients and internal operations. Assigned tasks will be based on the candidate’s skill sets but may include:

  • Sales and operations support including maintaining Time & Billing and Project Management tools, preparing and reviewing client deliverables using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, managing CRM data, and performing all administrative portions of the Sales process
  • Marketing assistance including maintaining client lists, mailings, other items as necessary
  • Accounting support including reviewing and processing invoices
  • Maintaining goals and objectives in Corporate Performance Management tool
  • Event planning including making reservations for offsite meetings and employee travel
  • Scheduling and calendar maintenance
  • Administrative support to ensure efficient operations of office including ordering and restocking of supplies, basic office upkeep, ordering and picking up of team lunches, collecting and processing mail, shipping packages, and other administrative duties as needed
  • Assisting with general facilities and equipment maintenance by calling for repairs and service appointments
  • Other tasks as assigned

We expect this to be a full-time position, but for the right candidate, we would consider a reduced schedule. This position is located in Biddeford, Maine and resources are expected to be local to the office and required to meet in person and work in the office up to five days a week during on-boarding. After a successful on-boarding, employees are eligible to transition to working in the office several days per week. This decision is at the discretion of the leadership team and a mutually agreed upon schedule will be confirmed with the employee. This position may require partial week travel to client sites located across the United States. We are in the process of moving into a new office, but the new location is also in Biddeford.
