SQL Developer/Technical Analyst

ATX is a consulting firm providing business process improvement and technology advisory services to high-growth business. As ATX continues to expand, we are currently looking to hire qualified candidates to join our organization. We have an immediate need for a SQL developer to work within our Data & Analytics practice.

ATX provides a variety of services to our clients including technology strategy, software selection, software implementation, business process improvement, business intelligence, and executive dashboards and reporting.

We work across many industries including professional services, financial services, manufacturing, construction, life science and technology companies. The candidate should have a college degree in computer science, engineering, technology, or business analytics. The successful candidate will be able gain experience in a fast paced and dynamic environment and have the opportunity to work directly with the leadership of the firm.

This candidate should have at least 2 years of technical development experience including significant SQL development work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to get in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing consulting practice.

Candidate must be highly motivated and see themselves as an independent thinker and problem solver with a thirst for learning. Prior experience with database technologies is required for this position.

The successful candidate will assist with a variety of tasks supporting both our clients and internal operations. Assigned tasks will be based on the candidate’s skill sets but may include:

  • Data warehouse development and maintenance using cloud-based databases such as Azure SQL
  • Integration development and monitoring to and from Azure SQL data warehouse
  • SQL scripting to transform data and efficiently process large data sets
  • Custom integration development between client applications including cloud-based systems and on-premise applications using SSIS and third-party middleware applications
  • Development of business intelligence solutions including client dashboards, visualizations, metrics, and reports
  • Data cleansing and analysis
  • The preparation, review, and editing of client deliverables using PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Visio
  • Other tasks as assigned

This position is located in Biddeford Maine and resources are expected to be local to the office and available to meet in person and work in the office up to several days per week. This position may require partial week travel to client sites located across the United States.
