Technical Developer

ATX has been named one of the best places to work in Maine and we are excited to expand our team. We have an immediate need for a Technical Developer to work within our Data & Analytics practice.

Position Summary:

The candidate should have a college degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, technology, or business analytics. The successful candidate will be able to gain experience in a fast paced and dynamic environment and have the opportunity to work directly with the leadership of the firm.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of professional technical development experience including significant SQL development work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a small but rapidly growing consulting practice.

Candidates must be comfortable in an entrepreneurial setting working on many projects simultaneously. Highly motivated individuals who see themselves as independent thinkers and problem solvers with a thirst for learning will succeed at ATX. A strong attention to detail with the ability to understand the big picture are required. Prior experience with integration and database technologies is required for this position

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will assist with a variety of tasks supporting both our clients and internal operations. Assigned tasks will be based on the candidate’s skill sets but may include:

  • Data warehouse development and maintenance using cloud-based databases such as Azure SQL
  • Integration development between client applications including on-premise applications and cloud-based systems using cloud based integration tools
  • SQL scripting to transform data and efficiently process large data sets
  • Development of business intelligence solutions including client dashboards, visualizations, metrics, and reports usings tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Data cleansing and analysis
  • The preparation, review, and editing of client deliverables using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with Azure a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform development a plus
  • Experience with Python a plus
  • Other tasks as assigned
